The orchid that won't give up!

I have had this phalaenopsis now for about 15 years....it keeps producing amazing flowers, even with the neglect it has to endure. I watched, what i thought was the last bloom, die and curl up on itself, and thought about cutting back the stem, as you are supposed to do....but of course i didn't get around to it!!! good job, cos just the other day, i noticed 4 more buds pushing forward! Totally astonishing!!!

In other very dreary news....nothing much to report, cleaned 2 cabins, managed to get to the car, and then to the cabins, over much ice and thawing snow...without too much of a mishap! It's rained off and on all day.....misty and actually quite warm...+9 or so!!! mostly a non eventful day! i had planned on going into the studio, but by the time i got myself finished with other stuff.....like the computer....it was hardly worth starting the wood stove, and it's still too uncomfortable in there without some heat!

tomorrow....lots of new ideas re glazing.....yahooo!!!
