Sunday 13 March 2011: Champions!
Our girls tennis team was playing today in the South Island Championships so I went along to watch them play for an hour or so this morning. Man - can these girls hit the ball?!
And the best part? They won :) yay! Go girls! South Island Champions so off now to the Nationals to play the best of the North Island too.
Apart from the tennis it's been a pretty low-key weekend. The sun has shone plenty and it's been lovely and warm, but the ongoing images and stories flooding out of Japan have left me feeling rather subdued.
