A COLD WINDY DAY

but with sunshine, spring opens up very fast now. The green leaves, the yellow flowers, the blue ones, a whole new world emerges from the dark brown and grey.
Yesterday I received such lovely comments, many about the top hat. This hat belongs to Piet Hein, my husband. He bought it when 18 years old and as a student he went to a (Semper)ball and the men came with top hats and their companians in evening dress.
Do not think that when we married he wore that hat, nor that I had a white dress. It was flower power time, so it was mini skirts, colour bright pink.
But the hat is still there and was great fun for many occasions, as there is conjuring, training of mock horses, and so on.
The walk along the beach was a pretty one and I saw many dogs, and they had so much more fun than their parents.
