Wednesday 23 March 2011: Four leaf clover
I met Sun Mi, a Korea pilgrim on the 21 km walk from Ferreiros to Portomarin in day 2 of my press trip on The Way of St James. I was walking with three Spanish women from Ibiza when I saw her sitting by the roadside. I though she might be praying, instead she was cotemplating her find.
We walked together and she told me she had taken the French route over the Pyranees. To her this was good as she was used to mountains in Korea. Flat land like this one were more difficult as she found them borning.
The clover enhanced her day!
