Wednesday 30 March 2011: Wild bunny
"If I look the other way and sit very still by this goalpost she won't see me." Thing is, rabbit, you had just run across the road in front of me so not much chance of me avoiding seeing you, even trying to hide in this garden.
I admit to being a sucker for rabbits. We always had them as kids, there was Snagglepuss and Honey and Bugsy to name a few. My dad kept them initially for meat but we ignored his orders not to get close to them and he had to give up that budget decision early doors. Our girls also had rabbits, dwarf lops to be exact, and Jen has taken over the family rabbit mantle and has 'rescued' several over the years who have been lavished with love and affection.
