Sheeps

The heron outwitted me again tonight. I remembered to look out for it as I approached the pond on the top road but it wasn't in its usual spot. As I drew level with the pond something made me look sideways and our eyes met.... I pedalled a bit further along the road, dropped the bike and slunk back below the level of the wall - passing traffic must have thought I was mad. The minute I stuck the camera over the wall, he was off! Next time!

Further along I spotted this family by themselves in a field. I wasn't sure whether mum was pushing the youngsters out of the way or whether she was showing me their best side.
