The bubble burst

A rainy Wednesday. Just rain with occasional drizzle so the wet weather plan of laptops, DVDs, large sheets of paper, pencils etc were brought out to keep the two warring factions occupied. For light relief I took advantage of a break in the rain to head across the road to have a mooch around some broken down buildings, crumbling caravans and unfinished developments. You can almost feel the development bubble bursting some time in 2008, with 15 holiday homes probably planned to sell for something stupid like 500,000 euro each, their foundations down and supporting walls up and then the money dries up. Three years later, there's grass growing in the wall cavities. I suppose it could probably all dry out and be finished.

Cheery. After that Ewan and I invented a board game. Nothing original but inventing the bonuses and forfeits was a good laugh and it took ages.
