Tuesday 26 April 2011: The First Minister arrives at Oban Airport
The First Minister was in the constituency today to support my campaign - good of him. He arrived by helicopter at Oban Airport and after meeting local members we went for lunch in the town followed by a visit to Argyll College. He left around 4.30, and then I had to rush down the road to take part in the Dunoon Observer Hustings at the Burgh Hall which were fine, though inevitably the ferry issue predominated. Benderloch,, Barcaldine and Appin tomorrow followed by an interview on Oban FM. Then off to Islay on Thursday for the Ileach Hustings.
