Wednesday 27 April 2011: Le départ
We took son C to the airport for his return to London via Bristol, but it's more of a changeover day than a departure because our friends J and T arrived on the same plane to stay with us for a few days - lovely to see them and to avoid the quiet emptiness of the house we always feel when the young people leave.
I've blipped the waves of this building before - it's a beautiful modern design, I think.
I'm trying out a Pentax 50 mm lens which used to belong to C, although he gave it to us years ago. He helped me with the right menu setting so that I can use it on the new(ish) Pentax. It's all manual although it does show some Exif data.
