Work day lunch

A couple of hours' work this morning to get myself back into it then a couple of hours in the garden watering the plants and planting out aubergines. Some of our lunch came straight from the garden - the broad beans and the herbs. I had to buy the aubergine to purée with garlic and oregano (but soon we'll be eating our own, I hope) and the olive oil was milled in the village using olives from a village only about 10 kilometres away. The goats' cheese was from Roujan, a couple of kilometres away. The wine was made in the village. So it was all very local....and delicious.
