Candle

This is a Banksia flower. I am not sure whether it is Banksia Spinulosa or Banksia Cunninghamii. Banksia expert comments will be greatly appreciated. I think a species of something like this has been cultivated for the home garden and is called Birthday Candles hence the title.

On a sadder note is the news of Molly's death (Tuscany). I have been greatly moved by the flowing tributes for Molly and in many ways feel privileged to have had an insight to her life for a very short time. She has obviously become a very special part of many blippers lives and will be greatly missed. It struck me just how much of an insight we get of our fellow blippers and their lives in blipworld. I am lighting this candle for her.
