Got in late last night and submitted my first back Blip of 85 days at 3:00 AM this morning. Rolled out of bed a little sluggishly this morning too, my legs surprisingly achy from bike sprints but, thankfully, sported no headache from the keg of Shiner.

Spent the day with Leah packing boxes of books and other miscellaneous disjecta/flotsam and trashing some old papers and what not. But came across the old 1940s Kodak 8mm movie camera, which has made a successful Blip cameo before. I like old technology: typewriters (we have five) and cameras (obviously), mostly. So there it is.

Getting ready rinse off the stink of cardboard grime, eat a big dinner, then we're heading over with the bikes to Magnolia (where there is a big local art and music festival going on) to meet up with O'Brien for some cycling/beer shenanigans--it's his birthday weekend.
