Tuesday 24 May 2011: Tree pollen
Around the corner from our house there's a tall tree growing almost out of the pavement in the narrow street. I'm not sure what it is, but it has leaves a bit like ash. Its pollen has been blown by the wind into patterns in the gutter.
A busy morning as we have quite suddenly, as things seem to happen here, found another long-term tenant for our little house, so we had to clear out the remnants of redecorating and other bits of pieces we didn't want to leave. I'm quite sad to let it go again, as I was quite looking forward to having holidaymakers there over the summer and having it available for friends and family at other times. But having weighed up the advantages of getting a lower rent but for longer, and for less work, it now 'belongs' to someone else for a while.
