Monday 30 May 2011: Besotter
The only boat which went out yesterday (and got as far as Newhaven) made it back today. And after I went out for a neat sail (in the sun!) I came back to the pontoon in front of it. What a joyous day. Cups of tea, great company, and much activity after weeks of shut down. I managed to get the new speed log fitted as well as a lovely little brass and wood light in the fore-cabin where I entertain only the most intimate friends, ha.
I feel pre-work madness coming upon me. Stop the clocks! Unscrew the tops. Turn up Steve Earle. I may even loosen my tie!
