Monday 6 June 2011: Gazi Husrevbey Mosque

The quickest of trips into Sarajevo has left little time for photography but it didn't take long to find something good. This is a very photogenic city and the excellent evening light helped.

I wondered about going for the blipperati accolade but decided that the President of Bosnia didn't really cut the mustard there. Besides, he's one of a team of three, pursuant to Bosnia's tortuous post-Dayton constitution. So he's not really special. Went back to the Pivnica this evening for a posh VIP meal. I can conclusively state that this brewery pub also serves fine (Croatian) wine.

Early start tomorrow. Best get some rest.
