Bee on lavender

With all the talk about bees dying out in some areas of Europe it's good to see so many honey bees on our lavender flowers. I hope they'll be making some tasty honey for one of the bee keepers around the village.

Several commenters yesterday said they'd like to see the less tasteful aspects of the seaside resort, so I've put a few of the other photos I took by the sea here, if you're interested....but be warned, it's a very different scene from my usual medieval village shots!
