A Lone figure on Caroline Bay

I already had what I thought my blip in the camera, but couldn't not stop and take this, about 5pm this afternoon. The sun still had a way to go to sunset but the colours were quite sensational. The reason being the sky over the South Island of NZ have ash in the atmosphere caused by the horrific volcanic eruption in Chile a week ago. This has caused the airlines to suspend many of their flights or to take alternative routes.

As I am typing this at 5.30 the actual sunset is amazing, the colours have turned to a glorious pink, just brilliant.

The weather has been very warm today, with a soft nor-wester blowing which is very out of season, but then isn't the world weather up the wopp!!

We've had a good Sunday, some more decluttering and tiding, went to the Warehouse and got mysetlf 4 x 60litre plastic boxes (with runners - important) to store some of my scrapbooking, sewing and the grandies toys in. Slowly getting there.

Work tomorrow

Rainie.
