Saturday 25 June 2011: Ceiling Abstract

Still being hounded by the dreaded throat lurgy. Why is it that one feels more ill at night? Spent too much of last night coughing coughing coughing. Nothing seemed to sooth and I woke this morning feeling very weary and sore about the ribs.
To market, to market for bacon and apples hen we decided to break with usual routine and have a coffee in one of the inner city cafes. Also checked out Whitcoulls who are now under new owners and honouring the old Whitcoulls gift vouchers. I was able to spoil myself with the latest D-photo, Good and Organic NZ magazines. Total luxury........

Whilst supping coffee I noticed the shadows being cast upon the ceiling from the lighting fixtures. Tried to be as abstract as possible...
