New Toy!

After a morning in the studio making mixing bowls i headed up to Sydney for an afternoon of dealing with the 'list'! Delivered pots to the Craft Centre, shopped at Value village and got my new summer wardrobe for less than $35.....and then i spent about an hour in the one and only camera shop closer than Halifax! I have been reading about lenses, trying to figure out how to make a choice! Finally, got to try a couple out! they didn't have the nikon lenses i wanted to look at, they could have ordered them in and then i would have had to go back up to Sydney etc etc.....and i wanted a new lens - TODAY!!! So, i got a Tamron 70 - 300 mm with a macro! not a bad price and i think it'll be a great lens. this is taken inside my friend Joan's house - while i was waiting for her! then a few of us met for dinner.....

All in all a very productive and happy day.....except for the absolute downpour each time i had to get out of the car!!!
