Wednesday 31 August 2011: Looking for Monsters
The Fringe is over and the Royal Mile has returned to normal.
Slowly we turn to September when Edinburgh goes quiet before the students arrive back for the next year.
Even the tourists are leaving looking for pastures new and more excitement elsewhere.
Farewell visitors to our fair city and haste ye back.
In fact, one more day for me in Edinburgh before I depart for a week's holiday with the family. Very much looking forward to it.
