This is the reason that we didn't get to hike into the crater today. The weather is bipolar. We had an incredible wind/rainstorm that came through during the night and when we woke up, there was just about no visibility. You can't take the chance of hiking into the crater when there's no visibility. Falling rocks, you know...not to mention getting completely lost!

All the same, we had a good drive back and were able to stop for another break at Kelsey's house.
