Day 14. 365grateful - Trains

Today I went to Cornwall to complete my diploma in Metal Clay at the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery. So I am grateful for two things. One that there is a train that I can get all the way from Paddington (and that I remembered to check my ticket before I set out as for some reason I thought the train went from Kings Cross!). I am also very grateful that my boss let me work from the train so that I could leave work at lunchtime. The journey takes four and a half hours so getting the 2pm was fine but getting the 6pm would have been a bit late!

We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude. Cynthia Ozick

The 365 Grateful Project
In early 2008, in an effort to fight depression, Hailey Bartholomew started a year long photographic project which involved taking one Polaroid photo a day of something she felt grateful for.
I thought that this was such a fab idea I would do it as well. I have been blipping on and off recently but I lost my enthusiasm for it when I felt that every day was the same, always going to the same place. However, I think that documenting something I am grateful for each day gives it a different slant.
