Monday 5 December 2011: Rockin' Robin
More of natures Christmas decorations for you.
What isn't more quintessentially Christmassy than a Robin? As you can see, at least the weather has turned a bit more seasonal. It was very parky out the garden lunchtime, when I went out there to take this photo. This little Robin is puffed up to keep the cold out, as were a lot of the greenfinches and goldfinches.
It's been fairly quiet out there today. There was a nice little flock of Great Tits that arrived as I walked back into the house. The Jay was up in the top of the tree, keeping an eye on things, but other than than that a few Blue Tits and that was it.
One more day off tomorrow, and then it is back to work for the final few shifts before I am all done and dusted at Clariant. I have to go in and sign the final "Compromise Agreement" document tomorrow, and from then on in it just a matter of waiting for someone to say "that's it, thanks for everything" or December the 23rd, which ever comes sooner.
A couple of rejected photos for you.
