Monday 12 December 2011: Rough Sea, Kintyre - and a bird !
The west side of Kintyre, where I was today, has great surfing beaches. But the seas this morning were a little rougher than I suspect even surfers would like , as this picture shows. There were even rougher when I cam back in the late afternoon and the journey across Loch Fyne was decidedly choppy .
However it was only when I was looking at this image closely tonight before I posted it that I noticed an intriguing detail - there is a bird rising from the rock on the right hand side, presumably just in time to avoid a soaking.
Serendipity yet again - like this one from earlier in the year.
