Today Christopher Hitchens died.

So did the idea of liberty in the USA.

This is the Katoomba Courthouse - sans the icky newer extension. I guess the way the US is going they might not even need courthouses soon.

It's partly in Hitch's honour I've reused the quote from 364 days ago. (And partly out of laziness, and partly because I saw it again and liked it.)

For the final version I used my usual B&W conversion (red filter about halfway, green about 3/4, and blue around 1/5 to 1/4; duplicate layer set to overlay, with about 75-80% opacity), sharpened it, and added a second "overlay" layer at around 20% opacity
