The neighbourhood
The view from the balcony makes the neighbourhood look like a bit of an expanse of housing and wide roads. That's what it is. I think I was pretty lucky getting not just one but two pedestrians in the photo.
Went wandering around the St Lawrence Market - a yuppie market in a refurbished downtown district. Nice. Lots of nice butchery and fish and stuff. Great bacon rolls.
This camera's taking a bit of getting used to. Reading the manual would probably speed things up a bit. I seem to be having great success in getting shots out of focus. And I'm great at moving all the buttons while the camera's hanging on its strap so about 2/3 of my photos are under-exposed and out of focus. No change there then.
