Friday 23 December 2011: New Ornament
Today was Jacks last day of school for the year. A half day today.
He was so excited to pull out a special surprise from his backpack when he got home....an ornament, shaped like a Christmas Tree with one side colored green with little fingerprints and the other side with a poem. In case you can't read it, it says:
My fingerprints as you can see
Have made a lovely little tree.
They're stacked up straight and oh so tall
With love from me when I was small!
He then wrote 'Jack' and 'Mom' and the teacher wrote todays date.
I have to admit, I got a little choked up when I read the poem. He was so proud of himself!! The best Christmas gift ever!!
