Thursday 29 December 2011: Union Canal
Here we are in Edinburgh! Not as one might expect, to celebrate Hogmany, but to bring home #2 Daughter and her partner.
We went for some shopping for our own New Year's Eve celebrations. Enough food and drinks to last from about 10 am through beyond midnight while we watch DVDs projected onto the chimney breast. We know how to have a good time!
Just as we got back to the flat the sun was setting on the canal.
The day ended with a lovely meal in the Caley Sample Room.
