Saturday 31 December 2011: Hope
The Trevor Project posted a photo on FB yesterday that said 'never lose hope'. I stared at it a lot. It's a phrase I've heard too often in the last year as there were times I did lose it.
Last year I told 2010 to bite me - well, it must have told 2011 who, as it turned out, was a vindictive thing and last year was about as bad as they come.
Still, we survived. We cried (well, I did), we laughed, we lived and loved, we fell down, dusted ourselves off and pretended we had intended to fall down. Tadaaaaaaa!
Some tough lessons were learned, others are so tough that they will need more digesting.
Never. lose. hope.
It will get better.
Come hither, 2012. I'm ready ;)
