Bird Bath Reflections....

LARGE if you like.... :-))

First day back at work after the hols. and Day 1 of the diet. Couldn't believe how dark it was when I got up! One of the joys of holiday lie-ins was getting up in daylight....even if it was dull and grey!

After three weeks of being a lazy lout being back in the land of responsible adult hahahahahaha has all come as a bit of a shock to the old system! I am SO tired now!!

*YAWNS*

Jeez! Nearly swallowed my laptop there!!! ;-))

On the plus side, the weather was lovely today. Blue skies and sunshine and about 5 degrees. Went out for a wander at lunchtime into the little garden that forms part of the grounds of my workplace. It was so lovely to get outside and get some fresh air that's what's tired me out....nothing to do with late nights! ;-) I ended up with a few decent (to my eyes) shots and wasn't sure which one to blip. Here's what you could have won....

THIS or THAT as I liked the backgrounds of these.

In the end I went with the bird bath shot as I liked that background best.

Hmmm....seems like it's been all about the backgrounds today.

Aplogies again for still being behind on commenting. I will do my best to get some time later to enjoy your journals. :-))

But now the time has come for me to go and try and make a 500 calorie dinner feel like a bloody feast!!

PS Just filed this shot under my January blips and realised they are all quite colourful. I think my subconscious has been desperately trying to inject some colour and life into the dark, dismal month that is January! :-)))
