Wednesday 11 January 2012: Kayaking the caves
After yesterday's wildlife adventures we spent most of today exploring by foot the coastline and beaches around Puerto Madryn. This included a 10km round trip walk to the Eco Center (the building shown in this shot). It wasn't open as the whale season has finished but from the outside it looks like a lovely building.
I enjoyed watching and photographing this green kayak and the skilled rider as he weaved in and out of the various caves. This gave me inspiration for tomorrow's trip which will be a morning kayaking with sea lions.
