Saturday 14 January 2012: Pastels at Dawn
I got a bunch of nice bird shots today: black-back gulls (adult and juvenile), a little gull, a couple of blackbirds (a male and a female), and - making me very happy - a couple of sparrows.
However, I've decided that this panorama (made using Autostitch on my iPad, from two photos I took from my grandmother's backyard this morning, having woken somewhat earlier than I had been) is my favourite photo of the day.
I really liked the soft, wispy, pastelly appearance, and other than stitching together the panorama, and levelling the horizon, I've done nothing to it.
