Euphorbia 'ascot rainbow'

Had our coffee at Mega Mitre 10 today and had a browse around the nursery area after. The rain had added it's glitter to most of the plants and I simply could not resist the temptation to take a couple of snaps even though it is verboten.

At last the rain has arrived and it looks as though we will have a couple of wet days. Not complaining as we need some moisture to top up the water buttes and soak the garden and grass. Earth was starting to pull away from the paths and in some of the worn areas cracks were showing.

Lovely falling asleep to the sound of rain thrumming on the roof...very soporific.
