Thursday 26 January 2012: Getting oot
One thing you learn around here very quickly is, if the wether's good... you have to take advantage - get outside!
Luckily, as I work from home, I can extend my day at either end and take advantage of the brightest bit of the day in the middle. Today the sun was shining at lunch time, so I headed out for a dash around the island on my bike.
This is the west side of Burray, overlooking Scapa Flow. The island in the middle is Hunda and the Hoy Hills are in the background. The passing place sign is a handy place to lean my bike and I often stop here before heading back to the East side.
