Friday 3 February 2012: The body in the library
Stewart Bain, one of theThe Orkney library staff and the wit behind the library's award winning* twitter page has come up with a great idea to celebrate UK National Libraries Day.
Stewart has adapted the original text of Agatha Christie's The body in the library so that it can be tweeted by the main characters in 140 character segments. The first instalment was posted this morning at 7.15, with a cliffhanger almost ending on Saturday. I say almost because you will be left hanging as the tweets will stop just before Miss Marple reveals who the murderer is... and then you have to go to your local library to find out whodunnnit!
A brilliant idea!
You can follow the story on twitter at The Body in the library
And for the Orkney Library twitter
Perfect to distract you from more mundane things on a Friday afternoon.
