Wednesday 8 February 2012: Frozen statue
I need look no further for my blip today. This guy needs his head examining. It was -6C this morning, with the wind-chill factor bringing it nearer to -16. The market in Lézignan is a shadow of its normal self, with few stallholders and fewer shoppers. Everyone who passed this living statue gave him a few euros, so I hope it was worth the risk of catching the chill of the century. I've never seen him at the market before -- he could have picked a nicer day for his début!
Oh, and I bought a kilo of lovely little organic lemons for a euro!
