Glen Campbell

No, not really. It's Castle Campbell at the end of Dollar Glen (or the end of Glen Devon, depending on which end you approach it from). Still I was humming Rhinestone Cowboy and Wichita Lineman for a while. Lovely walk with the weans and the Moores, with the sun shining, which was just as well since I'd managed to leave my jacket at home. But at least I'd remembered the weans' warm clothes. Young Hannah Moore had brought along her Ghillie kettle to make hot chocolate for everyone. A nice walk and a little bit of fire starting.

Had a wee Skype with M in South Africa. A nice novelty and the kids enjoyed seeing Mum. It all started to go wrong when Ellen found it was hilarious to moon the camera.

Remember: this is Ellen's fairy castle. There are boy fairies, with blue wings and girl fairies, with pink wings. The boy fairies and girl fairies do much the same things but the boys have dragons on their duvets and the girls have flowers. Her hens are still out there, hiding in the grass although her sheep did make it home on their own (as I told her was the tradition), with their tails wagging behind them.

BTW: if you ever think that something you thought was promising looks a bit shit, here's the original. With the right software, all is not lost.
