Bird Or Pole?

It's been thawing overnight, and Bremen's winter wonderland seems to be history for this year. What a pity! There are already puddles on the ice and the duck's wake is getting larger again.

I've made a lot of blips today, but somehow I like this one best. The peacock is eagerly watching the gate on the other side of the fence where the gamekeepers will come in with his breakfast. I'm not sure if the peafowl have a house of their own. I think they have gone kind of semi- feral, only returning at feeding times (although they like to keep close to the park's small menagerie). They even sleep on trees!
