Mini Daffs

Its been one of those nothing kind of days when you never really feel you have achieved anything. Did get the last bit of fencing up in the afternoon, but didn't have the energy or motivation to press on with some further slab laying.

The weather seemed to be in a similar mood and, although it was relatively mild, it remained overcast all day with occasional rain. Just the kind of day for using up one of my reserve blips in the garden. We have had miniature daffodils since we got the original house nine years ago. However, when we were laying out the new garden last Summer we left space for plenty of bulbs. These were duly planted in Autumn and included lots more miniature daffodils, one of our favourite early Spring flowers. Even in our climate they start flowering in Late January and bring the first splash or real colour to the garden.

Lots of little smiley faces to bring some cheer to the day!
