So what did you have in yours?
This one contained mashed banana, lemon juice, and then drizzled with golden syrup!
It was a late night pancake, and probably the first time I have actually eaten a pancake on Shrove Tuesday in years!
The apocryphal tale tells of a house wife in Olney in 1445 was so busy making pancakes that she didn't realise the church service was about to begin, and rushed from the house still holding her pancake laden frying pan, and hence the pancake race was born.
