~Red Sky At Night Sailors Delight~

Well that old saw sure held true today.
We just got hit by a fierce storm this evening!
In the last half hour, 1" of rain, wind and lightning.
I do love compelling and aggressive weather.
But back to this morning, what a gorgeous sight!
Made me very happy to get up a 5 o'clock this morning.
I would do it every day if I was greeted by this spectacle.

Just went outside, stars, moon, a few puffy clouds.
It has been only an hour sense the tempest rolled through.
But on the horizon I can see more clouds and lightning.
And it is heading my way, maybe I won't go to bed just yet!
