Monday 27 February 2012: Misty Day on the Kyles of Bute
Low cloud and mist hung about all day . I had a surgery and some meetings in Rothesay in the morning (including lunch with Chris Markwell, the energetic force behind the re-discovery of , and annual commemoration for , Baird of Bute) and then went back over to the mainland for a couple of hours work in my office in Dunoon.
Between the two, of course, I crossed on the Rhubodach ferry. This is looking north, with the mist fading everything into the background except the marker bouy at the nearside of the Kyles of Bute channel.
