Sunday 27 February 2011: The first kWh of Spring.
Last autumn we replaced our oil fired central heating stove with a wood pellet boiler and at the same time installed some PV panels and one solar thermal panel. This weekend we have noticed a big leap in the amount being generated by the PV panels and an increased contribution from the thermal panel to our water heating. Winter is still here, I am sure, but the hint of spring sunshine is welcome - and now in more ways than one !
