Birthday Boy

It was 4 years ago today that I became a grandmother. I was living in America and was in the process of trying to find a way to return to Scotland. By the summer of that year I had managed to secure a teaching job in Scotland and the only one going in my field was in Thurso where my son, daughter-in-law and grandson were living! When something is meant to be a way is always found to make it happen.

I am so glad that I have been able to spend precious time with grandson number one and then also grandson number two. They have been very special years which I would have hated to have missed out on.
