Tuesday 13 March 2012: Faces of Fiona #50
Tuesday. Fiona is here even tho she has a very runny nose and a cough. (sigh. again.)
We only went out for a short trip to the playground but it was so cold!
My bookclub met downtown this afternoon at the historic Panama Hotel located in Japan town in the International district and subject in the book "Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet." We had wonderful tea and discussed the short stories of southern Catholic writer, Flannery O'Connor, which I thought were rather shocking and spurred lots of good conversation. The hotel and it's story would be a good blip, some other time....
On the way home it snowed! and the power was out in our condo for the first time ever since I have lived here (1987). amazing. But it was back on in less than 2 hours... Crazy weather continues...
Fiona and Boppa and lots of dollies did have a nap...She is definitely his little girl - when it's nap time, she pushes me into a chair and takes him by the hand to the bedroom. The photo was taken at lunch -peanut butter everywhere and strawberries....have one!
