Heading Home.....

We have a spectacular day here...sunny, warm....the snow is melting...yahooo!!! i took the dogs for a walk along one of the trails beside the house! this is the view from the top of the driveway. That's our home on the left side, the little building in the middle is Terry's wood working shop, and you can just see a bit of the red roof of the pottery studio on the right!

Finished working in the studio for today...altho i was tempted to keep going cos i'm into a pretty intriguing book on cd! It's a fictional account of George Mallory.....the British guy who might, or might not, have been the first to conquor Everest! He was such a character....i'm just loving the whole thing....british accent and all! I had no idea who he was - and i wished i hadn't 'googled' him, cos now i know just how young he was when he went missing! It's always great when i have a captivating book to listen to while i work....gets me over the studio more often :)
