Sunday 25 March 2012: Elbow room only!
2nd day at the British Sprint and Middle Distance Champs and we were at Strensall for the Middle Distance Race, technical and tough with lots of tussocks and marshy bits! I finished about half way down my course, beating some pals and being beaten by others, but.....wait for it......Tony missed a podium place by 1 second!
I decided to look for bliportunities at the final control where competitors had to cross a ditch to get into the assembly field and the finish. These two competitors had a bit of argy bargy in the bottom of the ditch! It looks very genial though!
