It's been a miserable day spent indoors unable to walk. My foot is swollen, but it doesn't appear to be inflamed. It's not very sore, until I try to put weight on it, and then it's too painful. Doctors' surgeries are closed for the weekend and to get attention would require a trip to Christchurch. Apart from the pain in the foot I seem to be all right so I stayed at home. I'm certain that I'm up to date with tetanus shots.

Thank you for all the kind thoughts. They are much appreciated. But I'm finding sitting at the computer with my foot on the floor rather uncomfortable.
