Tuesday 10 April 2012: Nardini's
Most people in the West of Scotland know this - Nardini's in Largs, perhaps the most famous ice-cream parlour "doon the watter", even allowing for the two different Zavaroni shops in Rothesay and the one I grew up with, Togs in Troon.
I had to be in Largs early this afternoon and where else to meet than here. In fact it was the first time I had been in since the major refurbishment in 2008 and fortunately it still has its art deco charm, and the same wonderful quality of fish and chips AND ice cream.
