Friday 20 April 2012: Stockport Station (in the rain)

What started out as a shirt and jacket deteriorated into a full on warm coat and force 10 umbrella.
So landing at Cheadle station with neither sheltering under a bridge for a taxi that you weren't sure was going to turn up was a really miserable start to what eventually turned out to be a splendid afternoon at the Pointed Dog.
Whereupon we were most cordially wined and dined by Jed and a couple of his friends who are involved with National Peace Day, something that is always close to my heart.
One of the my more memorable exploits into Cheshire, this time with good memories.
